Insurance broker Howden Alton has opened its North Pole Mail Service.

Children can send a letter to Santa and get a personalised response back.

Families can visit the branch to collect a postcard to write to Santa, share their Christmas present wishes and post it in the North Pole Mailbox.

Branch manager Jamie Bond said: “We’re making it easier than ever for your little ones to share their wishes with Santa, so that he knows exactly what they’re hoping for this year.

“And to make the experience even more magical, they can also get a personalised response back from Father Christmas himself.

“Our aim is to not just help children connect with Santa but also help parents create those magical moments that make Christmas so special.

“We know how busy the festive season can get so our Santa letter service is designed to take some of the pressure off, giving families a chance to focus on making cherished memories together.”

Howden’s letters to Santa are free, as the team firmly believes that every child should have the opportunity to hear from Santa at Christmas time.

After a child has posted their postcard, their parents can visit the Howden website to download and print a template letter from Santa, add their name and the present their child asked for, put it in an envelope and pop it through their letterbox for a reply from the North Pole.

Howden is running a competition to trim the cost of Christmas to 2019 levels by offering the chance for 20 people to each win a £250 pre-loaded Mastercard.

The Alton branch team is running festive events as “a welcome bit of festive fun and goodwill to help spread Christmas cheer”.
