A Farnham charity needs recruits to help raise money for end-of-life care.
Phyllis Tuckwell is looking for volunteers to help out for a few hours a week across 18 shops in West Surrey and North East Hampshire.
The shops sell second-hand items which supporters have generously donated. The money raised helps to fund supportive and end-of-life care for advanced and terminally ill patients.
Voluntary services manager Julia Morpeth said: “Our volunteers are so important to us, and bring so much to our team. They offer such a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organisation, and we are pleased to provide them with ongoing support and training to enable them to learn and develop within their role.”
Volunteers are welcome in any of Phyllis Tuckwell’s shops. College Town shop near Camberley is particularly in need of more volunteers, so if people were able to help out there the charity would appreciate it.
