More than 1,000 players took part in this year’s Beacon Hill football tournament.
The event welcomed players from across the area in the mixed and girls’ tournaments, from under-sevens up to under-17s.
Wonderful sportsmanship was on show throughout the tournament, and fun was had by all.
Beacon Hill Football Club are a thriving local grassroots football club in Hindhead, with more than 500 playing members including youth, seniors, girls’ and disability teams.
The club have also recently started a women’s football team.

One of the winning teams in this year’s tournament were Haslemere Town under-nine Rockets.
The Rockets played against Liss Athletic Lynx, Manor Colts Comets, Beacon Hill Radars and Grayshott Rockets.
The Rockets beat Liss 2-0, drew 1-1 against Beacon Hill, beat Manor Colts 7-0 and beat Grayshott 3-0.
The Rockets played against Liss again in the final, which finished 0-0.
As per the tournament’s rules, Haslemere Rockets won the tournament because they had picked up more points in the league format and won the corresponding league game.
