Badshot Lea slipped to a 3-0 defeat against Southern League Premier South outfit Gosport Borough in a pre-season friendly at Westfield Lane.
The visitors took the lead in the 25th minute when Bradley Tarbuck’s powerful shot went in off the inside of the post.
The Baggies nearly equalised on 35 minutes when Kai Allsopp’s shot was well tipped over the bar by the Gosport keeper.
Gosport doubled their lead on 40 minutes when the Baggies failed to deal with a ball into the box and Alfie Stanley fired home from close range.
The visitors scored their third of the afternoon in the 60th minute. A Gosport corner caused chaos in the Badshot Lea box, and after a spot of pinball Joe Morrison smashed home into the back of the net from close range.
Next up for the Baggies is a pre-season friendly at home to Chertsey Town on Tuesday, July 16 (7.45pm kick-off).
