Despite a few soggy matches towards the end of the season, Grayshott Cricket Club finished their season in style with a president’s day celebration courtesy of club president Phil Coleshill.

In recognition of the growing success and contribution of women’s cricket at the club, for the first time at president’s day there were men’s and women’s matches played on the day.

The day started with drinks and home-made canapés served in the sun as the members and players socialised. There was some entertaining cricket on display from the men and women.

To fuel the players, Bring & Braai served their traditional South African barbecue food.

The club thanked Coleshill and his wife Cathy for the day, and their ongoing support to the club, and thanked everyone who helped make the day a success.
