BORDON dance class FitSteps is welcoming a special guest next month.
On Saturday, February 25, Ian Waite from TV’s Strictly Come Dancing will be giving a FitSteps masterclass at a FitSteps event at Lord Wandsworth College in Long Sutton, near Odiham.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Age UK (formerly Age Concern) - the UK’s largest charity working to improve the lives of older people.
The event starts at 11am, is open to everyone over 16, and entry is by advance ticket only. Tickets can be purchased online at itstepswithtracey.co.uk.
No experience is needed, but anyone who would like to try FitSteps before the event, can contact instructor Tracey Kirkby (pictured with Ian Waite), who has weekly classes in Bordon, Headley, Farnham and Haslemere, on 07887 700045.
FitSteps is a dance and exercise class created by Strictly’s Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe, along with Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. It mixes steps from ballroom and Latin dances in a workout class.
