YET more roadworks are set to begin in and around Farnham this month.
Delays are likely in Ridgway Road for more than a month, as SGN begin works to replace 415 metres of the gas main. Temporary traffic lights will be in place from January 22 to March 4.
From January 21 to January 23, there will be a road closure on the B3001 Farnham Road, Elstead, at the junction of Sands Lane to The Mill pub, for resurfacing works. There will also be a three day road closure from January 21, on the B3001 Farnham Road, Farnham, and on the B3001 Farnham Road, Tilford, both of which are closed for carriageway patching.
There will then be temporary traffic lights on the B3001 Milford Road, Elstead, from January 23 to January 25, to allow South East Water to build five new water supplies to a new property.
A road closure will be in place in Chapel Road, Rowledge, from January 22 to January 25, as SGN lays a new service metre.
And resurfacing works will also result in a road closure in Crondall Lane, Dippenhall, from tomorrow (Friday). The road will remain closed between 8am and 5pm until Monday, January 21, from the junction of Dora’s Green Lane to the factory.
A day-long road closure will take place on Tuesday, January 22, in Pankridge Street, Crondall. This is to allow Thames Water to complete a planned cover replacement.
South East Water will also begin works on the A3016 Upper Hale Road from February 18 to February 22, with two way traffic signals in operation.
