Adult education provider Gateway Central Services is offering a free four-week course in English for speakers of other languages at the Alton Maltings Centre.

This government-funded course will be held on March 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 10am until 2pm and is for people aged 19 and above who live in Hampshire.

A spokesperson said: “Gateway Central Services is offering a free ‘new to English’ course for learners whose first language isn’t English.

“This course will help learners new to English to improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.”
