EAST Hampshire Guide Dogs Group had a pawsome collection day on Friday, October 20. After setting up a collection in the Tesco superstore at Wey Hill, Haslemere, the team raised a pawsitively fantastic £908.42. 

The team said: “We would like to thank Tesco and their staff for allowing us to raise the profile of the charity and collect much needed funds for Guide Dogs. Most importantly, we wish to thank those members of the public who took the time to stop and chat and give so generously.

"Many people stopped to talk about the dogs and the organisation and also enjoyed engaging with the Guide Dogs, who were especially delighted to be fussed over by many children and their parents throughout the day. 

“Guide Dogs relies totally on the generosity of its supporters to breed, raise, train and support the dogs throughout their working lives, so thank you.”
