Potters and painters have enjoyed a brush with the public as a showpiece event has returned to Alton town centre.
The Alton Art Society opened the doors to their 92nd annual exhibition last Friday in the Assembly Rooms with a preview event.
The ever-impressive event features a huge array of incredible work produced by local artists with prints, paintings, sculptures, pottery and more on display.
There’s still time to enjoy their work as the exhibition runs at the High Street venue until this Sunday.
Visitors have praised the high standard of work on show while Dementia Friendly got a sneak preview as the exhibition came together as they enjoyed their regular Friday sing-a-long and tea dance.
The exhibition also features work from schools with Busy Bees at Anstey Park submitting an entry with an ‘Elmer the Elephant’ theme.
The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm with a 3pm closure on Sunday.
