Alton Town Council approved Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy applications worth £145,904 when it met at Alton Town Hall on February 5.
The town council itself received £15,000 towards its public consultation programmes on Kings Pond and the Alton Neighbourhood Plan, £80,617 towards energy efficiency measures at the town hall, £14,294 towards an all-weather surface for the Community Canopy in the Public Gardens and £14,353 towards retractable privacy screens at Unit 16 in Market Square.
Holybourne Theatre was given £2,540 towards new fire doors, the Allen Gallery £10,000 towards its major refurbishment and Treloar College £9,100 towards its hoist replacement project.
An Alton Climate Action Network application for £9,200 did not meet the criteria.
