Surrey Police have closed investigations into a spate of charity shop breaks-in around Farnham and Hampshire in late summer.
Oxfam and Sue Ryder shops in Farnham were both targeted on September 11 with the culprits making off with cash from safes and small electronics following the burglaries.
The Oxfam store on Alton High Street was targeted two days later while the thieves were also linked to a similar burglary in Winchester during the month.
An appeal for witnesses was launched but the trail has gone cold, with Surrey Police all but closing the case.
A spokesperson said: “With regards to the charity shop burglaries in September, these investigations have been closed pending any new evidence or further lines of enquiry.”
