MORE than 300 runners donned Father Christmas outfits for Lord Wandsworth College’s annual Santa Dash, organised by chaplain Pete Maidment.
Pupils, parents and staff from the school near Odiham took part in the 1.1-mile run, which raised £1,100 for charity.
They were cheered round the course by many (little) helpers as they braved the chilly wind and were spurred on by the promise of hot chocolate, mince pies and a medal as they crossed the finish line.
Houseparent Robin Pyper was first home overall and first former Henry Titcombe was the quickest pupil to cross the line.
At the suggestion of second form pupils, the money raised will be donated to The Lily Foundation, which is committed to finding a cure for mitochondrial disease, funding research, raising awareness and offering family support.
