Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 8pm March 25 to 6am April 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Hazel Grove, carriageway closure for tunnel maintenance.

A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am April 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Milford, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm March 31 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to Chalton, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

A3, from 9pm April 1 to 6am April 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Chalton, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 9pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Liphook to Griggs Green, Lane closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm April 7 to 6am April 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Ham Barn to Longmoor, Lane closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Thursley to Hazel Grove, Lane closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm April 10 to 6am April 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Griggs Green, Slip and lane closure for maintenance works.

A3, from 8pm April 14 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
