The best performing primary schools in Hampshire have been revealed.
Children are assessed at the end of year 6 as they leave primary school.
The latest performance figures show 61% of children across England reached the expected standard across reading, writing and maths when assessed at the end of the 2023-24 academic year.
In Hampshire this was 60%.
But which schools in the area performed the best? We rank the top 10 below.
1. Preston Candover Church of England Primary School
In first place is Preston Candover Church of England Primary School.
Every pupil at the school met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
2. Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School
Coming in second place is Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School – the school had a score of 94%.
3. St Faith's Church of England Primary School
With 92% of pupils meeting the expected standard, St Faith's Church of England Primary School shares third on the podium of the best performing primary schools in Hampshire.
4. Sheet Primary School, Saint Lawrence Church of England Primary School, Steep Church of England Primary School, St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, and Liphook Church of England Controlled Junior School
Just missing out on the top three are Sheet Primary School, Saint Lawrence Church of England Primary School, Steep Church of England Primary School, St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, and Liphook Church of England Controlled Junior School.
At these schools, 88% of pupils met the required standard in these three subjects.
9. Hordle Church of England Primary School
In ninth place is Hordle Church of England Primary School.
At this school, 87% of pupils met the required standard.
10. St Mark's Church of England Aided Primary School
And rounding out the top 10 is St Mark's Church of England Aided Primary School.
Some 86% of pupils met the required standard in reading, writing and maths here.
