CHILDREN at Bentley Primary School were in celebratory mood as they painted commemorative mugs prior to the school’s ‘B-Fest’ Music Festival on Saturday.
Crowns, Union Flags and poppies all featured as the children created their designs, as a lasting memory of the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations.
Headteacher Katy Pinchess said: “This was a special project thought up by the parent body. The children have really enjoyed creating their own designs and will hopefully enjoy these for many years to come.
“Our super ceramics teacher, JJ, has worked tirelessly to ensure that every mug looks professional and fabulous. A big thank you to her and to the PTFA for supporting this lovely project.”
