THE Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company is holding a public consultation on its plans for 315 homes in phase three of the Prince Philip Park housing development.
This site is next to the Linear Park and Hogmoor Inclosure, and is accessed from Havannah Way via the A325.
There would be two-, three- and four-bedroom houses alongside a block of one- and two-bedroom flats.
Of the 315 homes, 134 (128 houses, six flats) would be available to buy from Taylor Wimpey, 134 (129 houses, five flats) would be build to rent, and 47 (27 houses, 20 flats) would be affordable housing.
Plans also include a children’s play area and other public open spaces dotted through the site.
James Child, project lead at the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company, said: “We’re excited for this new phase of regeneration and the unique and beautiful living environment it is going to create for Whitehill & Bordon.
“Surrounded by green space and wildlife while still just moments’ walk from the town centre, these new properties will make ideal forever family homes.
“Alongside those homes that will be on the market for private sale, we’re delighted to ensure the needs of many in the local area are being met by the inclusion of rental homes and apartments, as well as more great affordable homes.
“We hope this contributes towards creating a vibrant and diverse community in the town.
“I am keen to express this consultation is not merely a box-ticking exercise.
“We will seriously and compassionately consider all feedback we receive and expect to have an in-depth conversation about this development at the question time event on Tuesday.”
People are encouraged to register to view the virtual panel boards and fill out a questionnaire to express their views on the plans.
The first homes are set to be completed in October 2023 and each would have a parking space. Electric vehicle charging points would be available.
An overview of the proposed development, including architectural look and character, construction materials, amenities and sustainability is available via the virtual consultation website. This will be open from Monday until April 4 at https://www.princephilippark.co.uk/ consultation/phase3/
