Visitors to an East Hampshire care home got a taste of the Himalayas at its annual fete and open day as Nepalese street food was on the menu.
But there were plenty of other treats at Pax Hill in Bentley with a barbecue, cream teas, homemade cakes and Pimms being served on a fine day of entertainment and fun.
Natasha entertained guests with hits throughout from the decades while stalls selling everyone from ladiesware to 3D-printed castles had a busy afternoon.
A plant sale with varieties that had been sown, grown and potted by residents also drew the crowds along with a traditional raffle and tombola.
Staff, residents and visitors of all ages enjoyed each other’s company, exemplifying the Pax Hill’s motto of ‘people don’t live in our workshop, we work in their home’.
Pax Hill is an independent care home that offers care for residential, dementia and nursing residents.
