An entrepreneur with a latte love for Alton is set to open his second outlet in six months.

Harry Souter gave rail commuters a caffeine fix in late 2023 when he opened Manny’s Coffee Barn in Station Road, close to his kitchen design and fitting business, Alton Barn Kitchens.

But he’s bean eyeing-up a second premises with Manny’s Coffee Lounge opening in Energique Wellness & Fitness Centre next Monday, June 24. 

The chance to open a second outlet, close to his first, was a “no brainer” according to the excited owner.

He said: “We are used to opening at 6am for commuters and now we can offer the same great service to users of the gym at the recreation area.”

Manny’s Coffee Lounge will be open from 6am to 6pm weekdays and from 8am to 3.30pm on weekends, with sandwiches, salads, paninis, cereal and £5 meal deals available in addition to drinks.
