A community group which helps Altonians to banish boredom and save money is looking for new leaders.

Martin and Helen are stepping down as the leaders of Alton Community Share after more than four years in charge.

The group overseen by Alton Climate Action Network (ACAM) is a free library of jigsaws, games, toys and activities which runs every two weeks in St Lawrence’s Parish Centre.

The new leader - or leaders - will work with volunteers with tasks including the smooth running of each session, managing stock, overseeing background administrative functions and social media promotion.

No special skills are needed – just some energy, a bit of time and willingness to give it a go.
