A MASKED Audi driver has been linked to a spate of vehicle break-ins and tool thefts around Headley Down.

Several vans around Beech Hill, Birch Road, Alder Road and Pine View were targeted on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.

Electrical tools were among the items stolen with several unsuccessful break-ins also being reported.

A witness saw a balaclava-wearing male driving a dark-coloured Audi A4 on Alder Road around 7.55pm on Tuesday, January 9.
