There was a rubbish debate at Life Church Petersfield on Sunday as the talk was all about waste.
The church holds a monthly Family Sunday event which includes a talk based on a “caring for ourselves and for our environment” theme.
Because of Harvest Thanksgiving organisers opted for a waste theme with Laura Simpson-Pirie of Juniper being the guest speaker at the Methodist Church Hall event.
The Lavant Street trader, who was accompanied by her daughters Emilia and Alik, gave tips on practical steps to reduce household waste and talked about the role her refill shop is playing.
Worshippers asked questions about pricing after the talk with Laura being thanked for her time. The next Family Sunday on November 26 will have a “Guidance” topic and will look at what practical steps parents can take to oversee underage access to the internet.
