The movie Thelma (12A) is the latest Screen by the Green offering at Beech Village Hall on January 10 at 7.30pm.
Thelma stars Oscar nominee June Squibb, in her first leading role, as a 93-year-old grandmother who refuses to be a victim after falling prey to a phone scam.
Joined by legendary actor Richard Roundtree and his trusty motorised scooter, Thelma embarks on a hilarious quest to reclaim what was stolen from her.
This comedy offers a heartwarming and laugh-out-loud take on ageing with attitude. Inspired by a true story, Thelma proves heroes come in all ages - and with a lot of sass.
Tickets cost £6.50 in advance at www.beechvillage.org.uk or £7 on the door.
