PUPILS from Amery Hill School donned festive hats as they visited Alton Community Hospital on the run up to Christmas to sing carols tor patients on Inwood Ward and the neighbouring Limes Day Centre on Chawton Park Road.

Everyone joined in with the singing, which led one patient to remark: “Now it really seems like Christmas!”

A spokesman for the community hospital said the choir had already been booked for next Christmas.
