It was a joyous occasion for the capacity audience and the choir. The first half was a selection of songs from the choir’s repertoire over the past 12 years, including the Song for the Commonwealth premiered at the beacon lighting at Farnham Castle earlier this month.
Interval refreshments were provided by church members before the formal uniform was swapped for colourful T-shirts as the second half was a medley from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A retiring collection for Ukrainian refugees raised more than £1,000.
New members are always welcome. There is no audition or a need to read music. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings. For details visit www.farnhamvoicestogether.uk
