Children can hunt for 24 beautifully decorated eggs when Alton Town Council’s Easter Trail is held in Alton town centre between April 7 and 21.
The eggs, designed by children attending the Wild House Play Café in Cross and Pillory Lane, will be hidden in shop windows around the town. There will be a trail map to help, and anyone finding them all can claim a free prize.
Trail map sheets can be picked up from the Alton Model Shop, Freedom Through Expression art gallery, Esquires Café, Newbury Building Society, M E Howitt leather goods, Alton Maltings Centre, Alton Hearing Care, Bourne Estate Agents, Loveable Rogues, Dill, Wild House Play Café, Hermanos, The Market Bar and Hotel, Slush Truck, Phase Barbers and Specsavers.
There is also a downloadable activity sheet on which to design an Easter egg and complete a word search. Egg designs can be handed in to the town council, with a chance to win a special prize.
