LORD Wandsworth College at Long Sutton, near Odiham, hosted The Festival of Book Clubs annual literary festival.
Now in its fifth year at the college, the festival attracted authors such as Louise Doughty, whose novel Apple Tree Yard was dramatised earlier this year by the BBC; crime novelist William Shaw; acclaimed novelist Sandra Howard; Alastair Langlands who writes about the literary history of Hampshire; and Sue Gee whose recent, eleventh novel Trio has received glowing reviews.
Master of Ceremonies was Tim O’Kelly, from One Tree Books, Petersfield.
The festival is the brain child of former teacher who organised a book sale to raise funds for Book Aid International. Each year a different local charity is supported and this time Step by Step was chosen to receive the festival’s support.
