A Petersfield restaurant celebrated the completion of yet another successful Christmas campaign.
Clavio Lounge supported the Petersfield Christmas Give, which has been run for 11 years by Joe Tully, 15, after he started the initiative with the help of his brother when he was five.
The campaign helps local families and individuals and the team at Clavio Lounge set up a giving tree, where customers could select to buy a gift for a child, described on tags hanging on the tree.
As a result of the overwhelming generosity of Clavio Lounge customers, 100 gifts were bought and donated to Joe’s appeal – going to Home-Start Butser for distribution over the festive period.
Tasha, general manager, said: “We were delighted with the amount of gifts bought by our lovely customers so a huge thanks to all of them for their generosity and support. They made Christmas so much nicer for many local children.”
In addition to the Clavio Lounge, donations were also dropped off and collected by Jakes Toys, The Dandy Cat, Free Shop Petersfield, and The Little Leaf Play Café. Donations also went to The King’s Arms and Petersfield Food Bank.
