December was the town’s most crime-ridden month in 2023, with 55 crimes reported. 

Following a month-on-month trend, violence and sexual offences were the main offences, with 17 reported. In 2023, Haslemere was the site of a shockingly high number of these offences, with 145 reported.

Anti-social behaviour was the second worst crime, with 94 reported in 2023.

Burglaries were not far behind, with 13 reported in December, making them the third must reported crime over the entire year, at 71 incidents.
