AS LOCKDOWN measures are beginning to ease, Alton’s Hillside car boot sale re-opened for business last weekend.
With three-metre social distancing measures between each stall, bargain hunters are now returning back to normality – albeit with some new rules in place to adhere to guidelines.
It comes as other locations are set to open their fields for car boot sales once again, including The Countryside Car Boot Sale at Country Market, Bordon.
While the market’s Wednesday and bank holiday car boot sales remain suspended, they will resume their Sunday event on August 2 – with additional measures in place.
New times include sellers entry at 6.30am, with buyers entry from 7.30am.
