Morgan's has become the latest business to join the Plastic Free Farnham scheme.
The Farnham butcher joins a growing list of independent businesses which have qualified for plastic- free status via the Surfers Against Sewage campaign.
To achieve this status, Morgan’s has swapped plastic carrier and produce bags for paper bags, and staff have given up single-use plastic water bottles in favour of reusable ones.
Businesses which have signed up include Pullingers, Farnham Wholefoods, Refillable, Hogs Back Brewery, the Blue Bear Bookshop and Ruby Jones Home.
Morgan’s first butchers shop opened in 1966 in London, before relocating to Alton and then Petersfield. Today, in Farnham, the third generation of the family holds the same values of product quality and customer service as the original.
Located in Ridgway Road, Farnham, Morgan’s is an independent, family-run business selling quality meat and deli products. All of Morgan’s products come from ethical producers that care about quality, taste and the welfare of their livestock.
