A farm shop in the Meon Valley has a tasty proposition as a date has been set for its third annual food festival.

The best of Hampshire’s food and drink will be showcased at Westlands Farm Shop near Wickham on Saturday, July 6.

Local independent producers like Bere Dairy and Homemade Brownie Company will set up stall at the free event in a feast for the mouth, eyes and senses.

The Shedfield hosts will also run a barbecue with meat straight from its farm and expertly grilled by its team of award-winning butchers.

Further highlights will include heavy horse carriage rides and a Wessex Historic Tractor & Implement Club display of vintage tractors and agricultural vehicles.
