A Farnham-based business owner is celebrating after being nominated for a national award.

Stephen Kerr, who founded and owns mortgage and insurance brokerage Kerr & Watson with business partner Daniel Watson, is celebrating after being named among the finalists for the Broker of the Year award at the MoneyAge Awards.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 17 at the Waldorf Hilton in London. This latest recognition follows Kerr & Watson’s victory as Best Newcomer in the Mortgage Space at the Mortgage Awards in February.

Since then, the firm has been finalists at the Financial Reporter Awards and What Mortgage Awards.

Stephen, who lives in Farnham, said: “Being included as finalists for these awards is fantastic for our business. We know how hard we work daily to build this business, and it’s rewarding to see that effort is being acknowledged by the broader industry.”
