A mayor has sung the praises of Bluebird Care as the firm recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a shindig in Liss village hall.
There was singing and dancing and glasses were raised as Bluebird Care Alton, Petersfield & Havant marked two decades of caring in the East Hampshire community.
The firm toasted the milestone alongside their customers, staff, and Petersfield town mayor, Cllr Lesley Farrow.
The latter praised their “unwavering dedication” to helping people remain in their own homes in a heartfelt speech that also highlighted the company’s long-standing commitment to enhancing local lives.
She said: “My huge congratulations go to Bluebird Care for two decades of remarkable service and dedication.
“The work they do is essential to our community.
“It was a pleasure to learn more about their impactful efforts and celebrate the special milestone alongside their customers and staff.”
Chatter Splatter Preschool also joined the celebration, presenting handmade keepsakes and poems that they had specially crafted for Bluebird Care’s customers.
Bluebird Care has provided millions of care visits and has supported thousands of customers since opening in 2004.
They’ve also earned an “outstanding” rating from the Care Quality Commission for its in-home care services.
The firm’s managing director, Norman Murphy, extended their “heartfelt gratitude” to customers, staff and special guests during the special celebration.
He added: “We take immense pride in our work, and as we embark on our third decade in the East Hampshire region, our commitment to supporting the local community has never been stronger.”
