A book charting the history of Alton’s Palace Cinema will be available next summer.

It will include contributions from people who took part in the Memories of the Palace Cinema Alton Oral History Project and articles about the cinema which appeared in the Herald.

Lead researcher Abbe Fletcher said: “The book will be on sale at the Curtis Museum and proceeds from sales will go towards supporting the Curtis Museum and Allen Gallery.”
