A CORONERS' court has recorded a verdict of 'accidental death' after a 40-year-old man from South Warnborough lost his life in a crash on the B3349 Odiham to Alton road on October 7.

John Stephen Jordan died instantly when his black Audi S5 crashed into a mature tree near The Golden Pot crossroads.

He was found to be more than three times over the drink-drive limit, and had overtaken a line of cars at speed on a blind bend just minutes before.
