Nine teams will be competing in the annual Alton Victorian Cricket Tournament at The Butts on June 22.
Stepping up to the crease will be sides representing Alton Runners, Bushy Leaze, Cassidy’s Bar, Cedar Vets, The Eight Bells, The Masons, The Railway Arms, The White Horse and Warren Powell Richards.
Trish Delany, chair of the Alton Victorian Cricket Committee, said: “We're delighted to have had such a positive response to team applications this year, a really encouraging mixture of long-standing supporters returning for another year and some brand new teams.”
Money raised will go to Broadlands Equine Therapy and Riding for the Disabled Association in Medstead, a charity marking its 70th year of providing therapeutic riding experiences to people with physical and learning disabilities.
