Alton School pupils, parents and staff raised £710 for Comic Relief with a coffee morning and cake sale organised by the PTFA.

Parents gathered in the morning and pupils joined in during break time, wearing red for Comic Relief's theme. Lower school pupils dazzled by dressing head to toe in red.

Headmaster Andrew Reeve said: "We are thrilled to see such overwhelming support from our school community for Comic Relief.”
