Blackmoor Apple Tasting Day saw Alton Morris dance for a large and enthusiastic audience before giving them a chance to join in.

More than 20 dancers and musicians raised £109 for the charity Home-Start.

Squire of the side Kasten Harris said: “It’s always great fun to dance at Blackmoor. Alton Morris have been entertaining the crowds here now for nearly 30 years.

“We always do a joining in dance and over the years we have found it’s a great place to find new dancers.

“Because of lots of interest from people who want to see what it’s like to actually do Morris dancing, we have extended our taster sessions to the end of the month.”
