A 19-year-old motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a late-night collision in Elstead.
Police were called after a car crashed into a tree on the B3001 Farnham Road near the Elstead Mill, around 11.30pm on Sunday (December 30) evening.
One of the passengers in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The other passenger and the driver suffered minor injuries.
The driver, a man from Elstead, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing injury by driving without due care and attention. He was being held in custody on Monday morning.
The B3001 was closed in both directions around midnight following the collision.
