Police are appealing for witnesses following a road incident this morning that left an elderly man seriously injured.
Officers were called to Reading Road North in Fleet at 9.42am on Monday, April 21 after reports of a collision involving a grey Smart Fortwo car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Reading Road North remained closed this morning while police carried out inquiries at the scene.
As part of their investigation, officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, the events leading up to it, or the aftermath.
They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area around 9.40am and may have dash-cam footage.
