FIREFIGHTERS rescued an injured walker who fell off a steep wooded hillside near Froxfield yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at 4pm on Wednesday (February 28) amid concerns about the safety of a man close to Stoner Hill.
Police and paramedics also attended after the man fell deep into woodland not far from Cockshott Lane.
Fire crews from Petersfield, Liphook and Horndean worked closely with ambulance staff and HART paramedics to lift the man to safety.
The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution, with the stop message coming through at 7pm.
